Nestled in a quiet suburban street in Capitalpark lies this unassuming gem. If you blink you will miss it. What a delightful unassuming space to sit back, kick off your shoes and relax. The service is friendly, the prices fair and the food delicious with a twist and surprise around every corner. The decor is retro chic and there is a M Coertze museum as well as interesting nick-nacks around every corner. I had a "burger" which was in effect a homemade Roti stacked with 2 patties, rib, bacon, garlic cheese sauce, onion, vegetables. It was divine. Well done! Well worth a visit!

What a gem in a overcrowded Pretoria! This is the place to be for almost any occasion. We had very good breakfast in a beautiful garden and found ourselves in an oasis of peace and quiet. If you have to visit Pretoria, don't forget to visit!

Hap Koffiehuis is one of the best experiences I had. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff members. The place is tranquil and you feel like you are at peace. The food is excellent!! The best burger I ever tasted. I will most certainly go back to try all their other dishes. Definitely a place worth visiting

Unique and artistic, truly indeedI loved everything about this place: the very friendly staff, the great atmosphere to just be yourself, the fact that each seating spot has a different theme, etc. And of course, plenty of mouthwatering food (chicken curry pie and snack platter, highly recommended)... The cafe was so comfy, I didn't feel like leaving the place (> ਊ <)

Uniquely situated in a residential area and designed in a very bohemian manner with Afrikaner undertones. Perfect for small functions and long lunches. COVID precautions are in place. We had coffee, tea and cake. The coffee was fine but I would have preferred a more moist chocolate cake for myself although my friends really loved their carrot cake. Lots of nooks and crannies to check out before settling down on a variety of seating choices, including a cut out claw bathtub near the pond. Of interest would be a tiny task monument opened by Mimi Coertze of opera fame. Lovely atmosphere all around

Nice place. Very calm atmosphere. The service can improve a bit, but overall happy. The food is great. When I ask for something specific, they don't hesitate to adapt and make it, even if it's not on the menu...
